As the Director of Operations and Executive Assistant to the CEO at RTS, Yanira Camino brings a wealth of experience in youth development and organizational management. With a decade-long career dedicated to supporting mission-driven organizations, Yanira has honed her skills in developing tools and structures to foster growth and efficiency.

Yanira's career highlights include serving as a Program Manager for the Girl Scouts of Greater NY and holding key roles in operations management at Brooklyn Prospect Charter School and Success Academy Charter Schools. Her leadership in school-wide initiatives and her experience teaching ESL abroad in Korea and Thailand for over two years have further enriched her expertise in youth development.

Armed with a Master's Degree in Public Administration, earned in December 2022, Yanira joined RTS in April 2022 as an Operations Project Manager. Her dedication and contributions led to her promotion to Director of Operations and Executive Assistant to the CEO by March 2023. In this role, Yanira is deeply fulfilled by the opportunity to create and maintain systems that support RTS staff in carrying out the organization's mission.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Yanira finds joy in her Shih-poo pup, Butters, named after the beloved South Park character. An avid runner, Yanira has completed marathons in New York City and Chicago, with her sights set on the London Marathon in April 2024. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, reading books, and exploring new bars and restaurants in the city.
