Mary De Rosa brings a unique blend of business acumen, creative insight, and mission-driven purpose to her role as Chief Financial Officer at Roads to Success. With roots in law, mortgage, real estate, and the performing arts, Mary began her career under the mentorship of CPAs, where she developed a deep understanding of financial and managerial accounting, analysis, and the structural foundations that make organizations thrive.

Her ability to transfer these skills across sectors led her to the world of arts and culture, where she quickly made an impact, serving as Business Manager and Interim Director of an $8M orchestra during three major leadership transitions. Most recently, she lead Finance and Operations for 2 nonprofits simultaneously: a membership organisation and a museum facility, spearheading system changes and transparency. Mary has repeatedly helped organizations in crisis find solid financial footing, leading turnarounds from negative net assets to break-even budgets, correcting years of financial imbalances, and instituting the first-ever cash flows, bottom-up budgets, electronic processes, and internal financial systems for multiple nonprofits.

Her work goes far beyond numbers. Mary’s leadership is rooted in building sustainable systems that promote transparency, clarity, and confidence. Whether she’s restaffing departments, identifying cost savings, or mentoring teams, Mary’s approach empowers organizations and the people behind them.

At Roads to Success(RTS), Mary is passionate about using her expertise to support the mission, staff, and ultimately, the students. She resonates deeply with the organization’s emphasis on social-emotional learning and growth mindset, tools she believes are essential for the next generation to shape a better future. Her hope is that her work creates systems that not only keep things running smoothly but also give others the freedom to focus on what matters most: 'Empowering youth'.

Outside of RTS, Mary continues to live at the intersection of business and creativity. She also explores the convergence of allopathic and holistic healing, with special interests in aging and longevity, and veterans' wellbeing. Whether she’s traveling, discovering new ideas, or simply enjoying good company, Mary brings thoughtfulness and intentionality to everything she does.
