Alex Hasslinger is a Principal at Ares Management, where he focuses on investor relations and product management within the firm’s real assets business. With more than a decade of experience across real estate, finance, marketing, and business development, Alex has built a career focused on driving growth, strengthening relationships, and creating opportunities. Prior to joining Ares, he was a Principal with GLP Capital Partners and previously served as a Director in the Park Hill Real Estate group at PJT Partners, advising clients on real estate capital placements globally. Alex holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Alex has long been passionate about youth development and expanding opportunity for underserved communities. Since high school, he has supported organizations including Covenant House, DREAM, and Inspiring Minds through volunteering, fundraising, engagement, and mentorship. His commitment is deeply personal: the educational opportunities and mentorship he received growing up played an important role in shaping his own path, inspiring him to help create similar opportunities for young people today.
