All 11 of our Roads to Success runners crossed the finish line at the TCS NYC Marathon, and they did much more than run 26.2 miles. They carried our mission through neighborhoods we serve, they trained through early mornings and long evenings, and they rallied friends, families, and colleagues to support our youth. Together they raised over $50,000 for scholarships and our college-readiness programs. This is not just a fundraising number, it’s a promise of opportunity for the young people we serve
“Thanks again for running with Roads to Success and supporting our cause! You all ran through the neighborhoods and communities we invest in and you helped support! The close to $50k you all helped raise will be used for scholarships and our college readiness program!”
— Gregorio Concha Toro, RTS Chairman
This achievement was earned long before race day. For many of our runners, the marathon was the culmination of months of grueling training; long runs in wind and rain, early-morning mileage, and the mental work of staying consistent. Equally impressive was the fundraising journey: phone calls, emails, neighborhood meetups, social posts, and countless personal asks. Each dollar raised represents a conversation about a young person’s potential and a community’s willingness to invest.

These eleven people showed up not only for themselves, but for the dozens of students who will receive scholarships, mentoring, and college-prep support because of their effort. They were ambassadors of hope and proof that passion + perseverance equals impact.

The funds raised will be directed toward scholarships and our college readiness programs, resources that open doors and change trajectories.
For the young people we serve, exposure to college pathways, financial support, and mentorship aren’t extras; they’re lifelines.
Our runners transformed miles into meaningful change.
